The Théâtre National Populaire is one of the 38 CDNs (Centres Dramatiques Nationaux) in France. These national drama centers are places where all aspects of theater—research, writing, creation, dissemination, and training—come together. They are led by artists to ensure each theater develops a distinct artistic vision.
📍 Access to the Roger-Planchon and Jean-Vilar auditoriums is via an elevator located at Place Lazare-Goujon, near the swimming pool entrance. Use the intercom outside the elevator. For motorized wheelchairs, entry is via 33 rue Michel Servet, at the security checkpoint. Ramps are available on the Théâtre National Populaire forecourt and within the Roger-Planchon auditorium stairways. 📍 Access to the Jean-Bouise auditorium is step-free, at 162 rue Louis Becker. For performances in the Jean-Bouise space, consider requesting your tickets in PDF or by post to avoid using the box office counter. 🛗 Elevators provide access to all performance halls, with designated seating areas.
