Welcome to the finissage of our annual show “Quasi” hosted by the artist-in-residency's team to share an autumn snack.

Choreographer Mats Ek, known for his unique and highly theatrical style, harnesses the elemental energy of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. This exceptional production, entering the repertoire of the Lyon Opera Ballet, will be performed live with the Orchestra. Sharon Eyal’s House will open the evening.

The exhibition is situated at a pivotal moment between two visions: that of a territory shaped by industry and that of the forms of life emerging there today. The project brings into dialogue two forms of testimony: work clothes and the plants that colonize wastelands.

Through his chiaroscuro photographs, Mabeye Deme explores Dakar’s nightlife and its often unseen realities. Blending memory, encounters, and everyday stories, his work reveals a sensitive and vibrant city beyond clichés, where darkness becomes a space of revelation.

This breathtaking journey across the stars beckons children to wander into the infinite, to dream, and to contemplate the great mysteries of existence. A sensory odyssey where art and technology intertwine, conjuring a world of magic, holograms, and poetry.

At a time when mobility is reshaping territories and identities, this exhibition brings together 24 artists to explore the movements of plants and people. Through ecology, colonial history, science, and art, it examines notions of rootedness, exile, transmission, and the interdependencies that connect all living beings.

Bringing together artists, researchers, botanists, anthropologists, and heritage specialists, this study day explores plant migrations and their social, historical, and ecological resonances. A meeting point between contemporary art, science, and the living world.

A musical one-man show performed by an actor-pianist. Beethoven struggles with deafness, impossible love and the burden of his name. An intimate journey where music becomes an act of resistance.

Through his artistic practice (painting and sculpture), Christian VALVERDE raises himself the question about the man’place in his social and economic environment. Because his status as an artist, is he a agent of change or just a spectator and consumer (homo economicus) of a story that goes beyond him? A philosophical question, of course, with no response.

Following the summer exhibition entitled "Henri Matisse dans l’aventure du tissu", the Doyenné art library invites Cecilia Paredes to examine the Master's work through the lens of photography, questioning the role of women, models, and fabrics. The photo series will explore the frontier between body camouflage and scenery.

Between Fabric and Plant explores the connections between memory, migration, and textile materiality. Drawing on linen fabrics made in Ukraine by her family over a century ago, Eugenia Reznik reveals how matter retains traces of the plant, history, and displacement.

Photography, ecology, and postcolonial narratives converge in Juliette Suchel’s work. This lecture explores the relationships between plants, territory, and image, where vegetation becomes an active collaborator in the photographic process.
